As Teresa and the Catholic spiritual masters explain, the problem for most of us is that we don’t know how to hear Him.
Remember the instructions given to us by the prophet Elijah in 1Kings 19: 11-18 - when God speaks it’s usually in a “still small voice” that can easily be drowned out by the noise of our lives.
